There are miles of public footpaths to suit every ability and interest, and the quiet country lanes are ideal for cyclists. Just four miles away is the popular village of Holmfirth, renowned location of the TV classic Last of the Summer Wine, a stunning film location where you can re-trace compos footsteps. The area is also known for it's the route of the Tour de Yorkshire.
