Within driving distance is Wells with its famous cathedral, historic lanes, supermarkets, and thriving market. The Mendips offer Cheddar Gorge, challenging cycling and great walking. Weston-Super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea have vast sandy beaches, seaside shops, family entertainments and restaurants. under 0.25 miles of the property, take in Westhay Nature Reserve, a paradise for bird lovers, or legendary cider maker, Roger Wilkins. Mystical Glastonbury and Street, with Clarks Shopping Village are also close by. Finally, the cities of Bristol and Bath have cosmopolitan culture, museums, bars and restaurants.

This architect-designed cedar-clad barn conversion is now a stylish and private bolthole to get away from it all. Go down a few steps from the parking area, open the door, and you enter a spacious and contemporary open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a huge feature window with sliding doors. The living space enjoys the most amazing far-reaching views over the Somerset Levels and to Glastonbury Tor. In the summer you can open the doors to let the outside in. In the cooler months enjoy the comfort of the underfloor heating and snuggle up on the comfy sofa and watch the incoming weather flood across the Levels, while watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV, or curling up with a good book. The kitchen area is elegantly fitted out, with an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and dishwasher: a perfect space for cooking a lazy breakfast in bed, or maybe even a romantic supper. From here, head up several steps to the stylish king-size bedroom and sleep tight after a busy day exploring. There are curtains if you wish to draw them; when left open guests can enjoy the views even when enjoying a lie in! The contemporary en-suite shower room has a walk-in shower and WC.

Push open the sliding doors, and the terrace immediately becomes part of the living space, seamlessly linking inside to outside. With al fresco dining furniture, the raised terrace is the perfect spot to take in the Glastonbury vibe. Have breakfast outside, enjoy the sunshine, or have a BBQ, and plan the next day’s adventures with your favourite drink in hand.
