This vibrant town offers a year-round events calendar celebrating food, crafts and theatre; with highlights throughout the year such as the Ludlow Fringe Festival in June and July, the September Food Festival and the Medieval Christmas Fayre held at the end of November. The house stands close to the town’s magnificent Assembly Rooms offering film, theatre and other events. If you are after some outdoor adventure, put on your hiking boots and head out to Mortimer Forest, or on to the Shropshire Hills. It's just a short stroll from your doorstep out of the town into some stunning countryside and local walks. The River Teme is less than half a mile away and offers some lovely riverside walks and a stretch of about half a mile of free fishing.
