Surrounded by a vast network of footpaths and quiet cycling lanes Wirksworth also boasts nearby popular destination Carsington Water. With its excellent visitor centre, walking and cycling routes around the lake and great opportunities for water sports, it makes for a fabulous day out. Another of the town’s unique attractions is the National Stone Centre, which offers activities such as gem-panning and fossil-casting. Find a quiet corner and relax in an armchair with a good book and switch off from the world. The bedroom is a feast for the eyes with a stunning feature mural designed by a local artist complemented by feature drop lighting and a beautiful king-size bed. The large window lets the light flood in and the room is a given glamorous boudoir feel with well-chosen contemporary and retro furniture. There is a handy WC situated near the bedroom and the bathroom offers spacious walk in shower with double ended bath and WC, and underfloor heating for extra cosiness.
Outside there is an impressive courtyard where you can relax on the outdoor seating or dine outside in the fresh air on a warm evening.
