For those who like the great outdoors there are World Heritage wildlife sites such as Swale Estuary National Nature Reserves and the Saxon Shore Way, both within 20 miles and offering fantastic local walks and cycle trails. Historic towns such as Canterbury and Faversham are within 25 miles as is Whitstable, famous for its harbourside walks, boutique shops restaurants and Oyster Shacks.
