Walkers will be amazed by the many routes they can choose from, whether it is from the doorstep or in the nearby Exmoor National Park. Wimbleball Lake is 17 miles away and offers a range of water sports, bird watching, fishing and nature trails.If you want to visit the beach, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Branscombe are well worth a visit. Closer to home, the town of Tiverton boasts a pretty canal and from here you can hire a barge for the day. There are also several National Trust properties in the area including Killerton and Knightshayes.
