There’s great walking nearby, direct from the front door without the need for a car or head to Coed Y Felin nature reserve, or climb nearby Moel Famau, the highest hill in the Clwydian Range or further afield is Snowdonia with its mountain railway. Northeast is the beautiful walled city of Chester with its medieval walls, specialist shops, tempting restaurants and world-famous Zoo. The beautiful Wales coastline is within easy reach, 18 miles north, with its sandy beaches and seaside activities. Why not head to the picturesque town of LLangollen with the river running through, along with plenty of shops and pubs to keep you entertained.
