The market town of Pickering is just three miles away with an abundance of shops and eateries to enjoy. Here you can take a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway and explore some of the locations used in the filming of Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone. The market town of Malton is also nearby boasting many interesting buildings such as the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. For a day at the beach, enjoy a drive to the Yorkshire Coastline and explore the seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey.
