The village of Crayke offers a country-inn serving gastro meals and is only a short walk away, you can also pick up some groceries just a couple of miles away. Visit the popular market towns of Easingwold, Helmsley and Malton - Yorkshires Foodie Capital or nearby York where there is plenty to entertain the children such Creepy Crawlies/The Web Adventure Park, Piglets Adventure Farm park or the Jorvik Viking Centre, along with a choice of museums, eateries and shops to please the grown ups of the party and of course you can visit the stunning York Minster. Visit some historical sites such as Byland Abbey, Rivaulx Abbey and Castle Howard.
