There are lots of opportunities to go cycling along quiet country roads and for the more experienced cyclist the Lakes and Dales Loop which takes in the Lake District Yorkshire Dales and West Cumbria is a must.
Explore the quieter northern lakes take a trip on a Ullswater Steamers walk an alpaca or enjoy a tour of a boutique gin distillery.
