Situated in a rural position yet only a 30 minute walk to the village of Bishops Lydeard – home of the West Somerset railway which offers many events throughout the year. The village also has a tea room, farm shop and restaurant. As well as two pubs in the village there is a great selection of pubs in surrounding villages of West Bagborough, Triscombe and Crowcombe. A short drive takes you to the West Somerset coastline with sandy beaches and inland there is much more to explore including the rugged splendour of Exmoor and The Blackdown Hills. Taunton is close by and offers extensive shopping, food outlets, restaurants and leisure facilities.
