Heritage Coasts - South Foreland Heritage Coast

Who hasn't heard of the White Cliffs of Dover? Here, where the North Downs meet the sea, are those vertical chalk cliffs which, through history, have meant 'England in sight'. The coast path is part of the Saxon Shore Way.

South Foreland Heritage Coast was designated in January 1998. It is managed by Natural England.
