Beadnell Beach, located on the north Northumberland coast, is a popular holiday destination known for its stunning golden sandy beach and picturesque harbour.

Beadnell Beach is a three-kilometre-long, horseshoe-shaped golden sandy beach backed by sand dunes, situated close to the village of Beadnell. The beach is part of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the Heritage Coastline, making it an ideal spot for watching the sunset. The gently sloping sandy beach can result in a long distance to the sea at low tide, and a stream called the Long Nanny crosses the bay.

The beach is a popular spot for swimming and various types of watersports, including surfing, sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, snorkelling, and scuba diving. Visitors can also enjoy walking along the sand dunes behind the beach or exploring the nearby village of Beadnell, which offers a range of shops, restaurants, and holiday accommodation. The village is home to a sailing club and provides opportunities to buy or rent water sports equipment.

Beadnell Harbour, located adjacent to the beach, is the only west-facing harbour on the east coast of England, making it a perfect spot for watching the sunset. From here, private boats can sail to the nearby Farne Islands, which provide a sanctuary for puffins, terns, seals, and other wildlife. Visitors can also walk along the coast to the village of Low Newton or explore the surrounding countryside.

There is a pay-and-display car park at the northern end of the beach, with access to the beach via a slipway and public toilets available. The beach is dog-friendly, with seasonal restrictions.

Beadnell Beach is on the North Northumberland Heritage Coast, and adjacent to the Northumberland Coast Path.
