The view of the Madeira Lift from the beach. The Madeira Drive entrance is now within a nightclub, but you can still ring the bell and the attendant will unlock and take you up to the Marine Parade level.
The middle level, for the Madeira Terrace promenade, is closed due to decay so the lift will not call there.
The lift operates 09:30-19:00 from Good Friday to the last Sunday in September.
