Safe bathing means the beach is popular with families, and the nearby town offers a number of attractions. For those with an interest in natural history, the beach also harbours a number of rock pools which are ripe for exploration and, on a larger scale, the Pembrokeshire National Park Information Centre is conveniently close at hand, from where information on guided nature walks can be obtained. There are standard visitor facilities close by the beach.
Broadhaven Beach is adjacent to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the Wales Coast Path.
