Situated a quarter of a mile from the village of Coniston, this property is within easy reach of the local shops, cafes, pubs and inns, perfect for stocking up on supplies or enjoying a hearty meal. The Coniston Old Man mountain rises up over the village and provides walkers with memorable views from the top, while the lake below is great for boating.
The front door opens into a welcoming hall where you can leave your boots, coats and hats before continuing through to the kitchen. Hand-painted, the kitchen is fresh and bright with a Butler’s sink, dining table and stylish pendant lighting. Next door, the charming sitting room has been furnished with comfortable sofas, cosy rugs, oak furniture and a wood burner set into the fireplace. Upstairs are three individually decorated bedrooms. To the front of the cottage is the master bedroom with king-size bed, wooden flooring, a vintage armchair and dual-aspect windows. The second double bedroom features a pretty dressing table, while the bunk bedroom next door is perfect for children. The bedrooms share a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath.
Outside there is a pretty cottage garden with a patio area for BBQs or morning coffees with a view.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
Please note there is a refundable £150 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.
