This historic house has been beautifully renovated to offer stylish accommodation in the heart of a bustling Northumberland village.
Located in the friendly and quiet village of Belford, this property is a short stroll from the local restaurants, cafes, deli and supermarket. There is also a golf course and children’s play area within easy walking distance. A short drive will bring you to the stunning Northumberland coastline, with its string of seaside villages and picturesque beaches. One such settlement is the market town of Alnwick, home to a castle and gardens.
Inside, the property is light and airy with plenty of period charm throughout. From the ground floor entrance, steps lead up to the first floor accommodation, which overlooks the market square below. Prepare delicious meals in the good-sized kitchen/diner, which is fully-equipped with everything you should need throughout your stay. The lounge is a beautifully spacious and bright room with two original sash windows, which are both adorned with charming window seats for reading or simply watching the world go by below. This room has been tastefully decorated in muted tones and furnished with two comfortable sofas, a Freeview TV, DVD player and iPod docking station together with a selection of books and games. Also on the first floor is a bathroom with overhead shower. Upstairs on the second floor are three bedrooms, each featuring exposed beams, uneven ceilings and fresh white decor. The master double bedroom offers views of the square and countryside beyond, while the second double bedroom enjoys distant sea views across fields.
