Or perhaps take a trip to the nearby market town of Bridport where you will find a bustling high street including an eclectic selection of boutique shops selling antiques and vintage curios, as well as essential supplies. With easy access to the South West Coast Path this property is also ideal for those wishing to take in the stunning surroundings on foot. The picture postcard village of Abbotsbury is well worth a visit with a popular Swannery and Sub Tropical Gardens to explore.
A small path leads through the beautiful cottage garden to the front door. Once inside you are met with an inviting hallway, with plenty of storage for boots and coats as well as a wonderful tiled floor. Immediately to your left is the dining room. With a feature fireplace and a light and bright ambience courtesy of the beautiful original sash window, this is the perfect spot in which to enjoy leisurely meals. Just next door is the stylish lounge, which offers comfortable seating and lovely period wooden shutters, making it the ideal spot to relax after a day spent exploring. Why not turn on the electric feature fire and settle down in front of your favourite programme on the Smart TV or watch a DVD. Leading on from here is the kitchen/diner, which is well-equipped for the best of cooks with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge with ice compartment and compact freezer. A table here is the perfect place to take your morning coffee, accompanied by the sound of birdsong. When the day is done head back into the hallway and up the stairs to the first floor.
