Just three miles from the village, the town of Filey offers a wide sandy beach which is particularly popular with water sports enthusiasts, as well as those who just want to relax and enjoy sunbathing, paddling, and seaside walks. For those who fancy learning a new skill, neighbouring Cayton Bay is home to a well-established surf school where visitors can sign up for a surfing lesson and hire equipment. Nine miles south of the property, visitors will find the seaside town of Bridlington which is not only home to a glorious beach backed by an elegant promenade, but also boasts a characterful Old Town where visitors will find an eclectic range of shops, a number of galleries, and a choice of well-regarded tea rooms, restaurants, and pubs.
