Just a short walk from the sea front and a beautiful sandy beach, this cosy and traditional brick and flint cottage is ideally situated in a great location in a popular Norfolk seaside village.
Situated on the breath-taking north-eastern coast of Norfolk, the lovely Victorian seaside town of Mundesley is home to delightful independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, and is famous for its stunning beach which stretches out for miles, with colourful beach huts and shallow rock pools. The village also features a maritime museum and a 19th century flour mill. You can also enjoy spectacular views along the Norfolk Coastal Path which leads all the way to Happisburgh. Mundesley is a fabulous base for a family holiday, with the nearby cliffs offering amazing views. Popular seaside towns including Cromer, Caister-on-Sea and Great Yarmouth are within easy reach, and you can also explore the Norfolk Broads or visit the historic city of Norwich.
On entering this delightful holiday cottage, which is set back from the road in a sunny position, you will find yourself in the welcoming and comfortable lounge, which retains its original feature beams and traditional pammet flooring. There’s plenty of comfy seating, including a sofa bed, as well as TV/DVD and a Electric wood burner effect fire. You will also find a charming dining area. Going into the kitchen you will find it fully equipped with an electric oven and gas hob with extractor, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and a fridge with ice compartment. Winder stairs lead from the lounge to the first floor, where you will find two cosy bedrooms: there’s a double room with a TV and an original feature fireplace, and a bunk bedroom with full size bunk beds. There’s also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.
Stepping outside you will find a long and enclosed front garden with lawn and shrubs. There is also an enclosed rear garden which is on two levels, with steps leading up to a raised gravelled area with garden furniture and a BBQ where you can relax and dine al fresco. Parking is on the road directly outside the cottage.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
