Located in a quiet spot in a quaint Lancashire village the converted Dutch barns are surrounded by countryside and wildlife. The cottages are equidistant between the seaside town of Blackpool and the historic city of Lancaster and the beautiful Trough of Bowland. A short drive away is the popular seaside destination of Blackpool with its Pleasure Beach, zoo, grand theatre and winter gardens, there is something to cater to the whole family.
Leisure facilities: guests are welcome to explore the grounds and relax in the wildlife area with seating and a wild flower meadow and adjoining paddock and also fish in the large wildlife pond stocked for course fishing. Games room: with table tennis, dart board and traditional family games. Amenities: off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi included. Additional info: It is recommended guests bring their own rods and fishing equipment and guests will require a rod licence (can be purchased from post office or via environmental agency website). 2 dogs welcome. Location: pub and shop 2 miles.
