This luxury cottage is located in the medieval village of Cartmel offering a choice of restaurants and is a short drive to Lake Windermere.
Cartmel is home to an impressive 12th century priory as well as its own racecourse which hosts a range of events throughout the year and plenty of places to eat and drink to suit everyone. Set out on foot to one of the many walking routes in the area, which take in Hampsfell and Eggerslack Wood or take a short drive to Ambleside, Grasmere, Coniston or Ulverston, this is a perfect base to explore some of the hidden treasures of the Lake District. Or why not rest your feet and hop on the Lake Windermere steamer, which winds its way for ten miles into the central fells, passing Bowness and Sawrey along the way.
Through the front door into the luxurious and comfy open-plan lounge/kitchen with large bi-folding doors out to the patio, with fantastic countryside views. The bespoke kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Here you can enjoy romantic meals on the spacious breakfast bar and plan the following day, before settling down in the lounge area to watch a film on the TV/DVD in front of the flame effect electric fire on chillier evenings. Heading out of this room upstairs you will find a spacious king-size and double bedroom, and a state-of-the-art bathroom with designer bath and separate shower.
Heading outside you can enjoy the stunning views from the slate floored enclosed patio with garden furniture and gas BBQ. Perfect for those warm summer evenings. There is on street parking, with a parking permit available for one car.
