One of two cottages set in the heart of Devon. Unique experiences can be enjoyed with Alpaca walking being offered on site as well as goats, sheep and chickens. Its a family friendly place and a great base for a your holiday at any time of the year.
Ideally located in the heart of Devon, this newly refurbished cottage completed in 2020 offers a great base from which to explore the area. Enjoy the animals on site, walk with the Alpacas (by arrangement) or see the goats, sheep, lambs (seasonal) and chickens or wander down to the lakes and enjoy a picnic. There is much to see and do in the area with lots of golden sandy beaches at Westward Ho! Saunton and Woolacoombe. Family attractions will delight the younger ones with The Big Sheep and Milky Way adventure parks. Other attractions include RHS Rosemoor, or the Tarka Trail where you can walk, hire bikes and cycle, traffic free.
Stepping into this cottage you are greeted by a lounge/diner with wood burner, exposed beams and comfy seating, relax and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV/DVD. The kitchen is well fitted and equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher. A shared washing machine can be found in the outbuilding just outside your front door. Moving upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size on request). The bathroom completes the accommodation and offers a bath, with shower over and WC.
Heading outside there is a private enclosed garden with seating and BBQ and a separate secure shed where you can store cycles, top boxes and surfboards.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
