The Kent and East Sussex coast is within easy reach and boasts sandy and pebbled beaches, lined with charming seaside towns and villages. Guests can also explore Tunbridge Wells with its wide range of shops and places to eat, Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, Scotney Castle and many other National Trust and English Heritage properties this area has to offer. Families will be easily entertained with days out to Bedgebury Pinetum, Bewl Water or why not take a trip on the Kent & East Sussex Railway and enjoy a relaxing steam train ride from Tenterden to Bodiam. Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request at the time of booking), with en-suite shower room and WC and a double with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Both bedrooms have fabulous views to the countryside beyond.
Patio doors open from the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and lead onto a decked area with a table, chairs and BBQ. At the end of the pretty enclosed garden there is access to the owners’ swimming pool (which can be used by arrangement with the owner from June to September). At the front of the property is off-road parking for two cars.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
