Within a short walk are newsagents, a pub, cafes, a Michelin rated restaurant, fish ‘n’ chip bar and Indian/Chinese takeaways. Ashcombe Park (400 metres) is extensive and great for kids, walkers and dogs, or visit Weston/Worlebury woods which provides miles of woodland trails and are within a mile. Weston is one of the great British seaside resorts (two miles) visit the world-famous Weston Grand Pier with its indoor theme park, amusements, state of the art rides, Go-Kart track, three level soft play area and a 4D Cinema! Weston Donkeys are of course legendary and a must for every child visitor. Alternatively, Sand Bay beach is a mile and a half and boasts fantastic views across the bay to South Wales. For sports enthusiasts Worlebury Golf club and Hutton Moor Leisure Centre which has most sports covered are both within a mile.
