A pretty riverside cottage bursting with character and located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, making it the perfect base for lovers of the great outdoors.
The village is split into two halves, upper and lower Llangynidr, and there is easy access over the dramatic Mynydd Llangynidr Mountain, to The Heads of The Valley Road and The Welsh Valleys. The national park is packed with activities to suit all moods, from gentle strolls and cycles to hardier mountain climbs. Pen y Fan (17 miles) is the highest peak in South Wales and can be combined with its neighbouring peaks of Corn Ddu and Cribyn to make a longer walk. The picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal has an easy canal bank walk with the option to hire a boat if the mood takes you.
A warm welcome awaits in this light and airy home. The sitting room has a homely feel with comfortable sofas to curl up on while the cosy wood burner warms your toes on chillier evenings.
