Description

A detached traditional Welsh longhouse dating back 300 years, set in a peaceful rural location adjacent to the village chapel. Close to the coast and Pembrokeshire’s golden, sandy beaches.

Bursting with charm and character, this delightful detached property was built to house a family and its farm animals, long before the chapel that now sits alongside it. In a lovely peaceful location with views across to the Pembrokeshire coast and lovely footpaths to explore this is a perfect location at any time of year. Close by Porthgain, has a pretty harbour, fabulous pub, restaurant and even an art gallery. Whilst St David’s, the UK's smallest city, with breath-taking cathedral, bishop’s palace, tea rooms and a good range of independent shops is within easy reach.

Upon entering this delightful property, which is crammed with character and a homely feel, guests will immediately feel relaxed and make themselves at home. After a day of adventures exploring beautiful Pembrokeshire take your walking boots off and relax in the spacious lounge, with its cosy wood burner, kick back on the sofa with a good book or curl up to watch a favourite programme or movie on the Smart TV. A doorway leads to the kitchen/diner, with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and double aspect windows give garden and rural views. There is a utility room with a washing machine which leads to the ground floor shower room with a shower, WC and underfloor heating. The first floor is accessed via cottage stairs from the lounge where there are three bedrooms, a master king-size with an en-suite shower and WC, a second king-size and a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into 2ft 6' twin on request at the point of booking), all have lovely rural and sea views. Completing the accommodation is the bathroom with a traditional roll-top bath and WC.

Outside there are large gardens, laid to lawn with a patio with garden furniture, and woodland beyond. There is private off-road parking for four cars.
