This charming house, built mid-1800s, is on a quiet residential street, just moments from Cockermouth’s Main Street with its lovely coffee shops, independent shops and lots of places to eat.
Situated right on the edge of the Lake District National Park, you will find the beautiful Northern Fells and Bassenthwaite Lake. Derwentwater offers sailing and kayaking and Whinlatter has some fabulous cycling tracks. Under 0.25 miles of your front door, you will find Wordsworth House and Gardens and other local attractions. There are theatres in the nearby towns of Keswick and Whitehaven and there are also cinemas just a short drive away, perfect for rainy days.
As you enter the house, it has a cosy contemporary style, you will enter into the welcoming lounge/diner. With comfy seating surrounding the Smart TV, this is a lovely place to curl up and read one of the books you will find in the ‘stairway library’. You will also find more rainy-day entertainment in the game’s cupboard, and Netflix is always logged in. The kitchen is just off the lounge, it is equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Heading up the stairs to the first floor, you will find a spacious double bedroom and the large bathroom is opposite with bath, separate shower and WC.
