This picturesque village, with thatched cottages and a stream boasts, cafes, independent shops and access to a myriad of paths across the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and Dalby Forest offering many activities and traditional leisure pursuits. Explore the market towns of Helmsley, Malton and Pickering with shops, cafes, bars and the base for the North Yorkshire Heritage Steam Railway which runs across the moors to Whitby. Discover the coastal resorts of Whitby, Filey, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough. Visit one of the many museums, castles and attractions such as Castle Howard, Peagreen Pottery, Flamingo Land and the Rotunda Museum.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and 1 twin with en-suite shower and WC. The pub in the village is being refurbished and is scheduled to re-open late 2017; there are 2 further pubs in Thornton Le Dale, just 2 miles away and is on a bus route.
