Lake Windermere lies just a three mile drive to the east of the property, along a country road which passes through the hamlet of Near Sawrey, where visitors will find Hill Top, the former home of Beatrix Potter. Less than five miles to the west of the property Coniston Water offers a range of water sports from it boating centre, or perhaps enjoy a Swallows and Amazons boat trip out to Peel Island, said to be the inspiration for Wild Cat Island in Arthur Ransome’s celebrated novel.

The neighbouring room has twin beds and looks out onto the patio garden. The sleek shower room is fully tiled with shower and WC. Because of the accessibility and layout of this property it is ideal option for those with limited mobility.
Outside, the property benefits from an enclosed sunny patio, accessed via the master bedroom, which has a table and chairs, ideally for relaxing with a drink at the end of a busy day. There is off-road parking provided for two cars.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
