The area is a haven for watersports enthusiasts with sailing, windsurfing and kayak available. There is also an area of salt mudflats which attract a multitude of wading birds. Pleasant walks along the coastpath can be taken with views up the haven.
Dale Beach is adjacent to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the Wales Coast Path.
