In weather which keeps most people indoors, a kite surfer finds his perfect conditions. Water is no enemy to him and the high wind is his friend. For those with the skill, won through years of practice, a storm is an opportunity. Since this photograph was taken, the weather has eased, and the kite surfers have vanished.
