After a rainy morning, the skies cleared to a bright, mostly sunny, warm Sunday here. Down at Portobello Beach with chum and his old hound.

Despite the warmth and sunshine, it was also very windy, whipping up some nice waves and a large swell in the sea. Quite a lot of people out sailing, and as we watched a couple of folks were getting their small yacht into the water from the beach.

With the high swell, it was a struggle to get it out, as the waves kept trying to push it sideways while they were walking it out, then a few moments later I saw it over on its side, with them trying to right it (they managed eventually and got off sailing!).

Glad of the decent zoom lens to grab some pics. Grabbed some video too - hadn't realised I had left the camera in Black & White mode though, but now I see it I think it suits the video too.
