Seton Sands beach is situated between Cockenzie & Port Seton and Longniddry. The beach itself is a mix of sand and rocks, providing a unique environment for marine wildlife to thrive, particularly in the rockpools exposed at low tide.
The beach offers a range of activities, including windsurfing, canoeing, walking, and horse riding. A dog exercise area is also available, making it a dog-friendly destination. Nearby, a small Haven holiday village features an indoor swimming pool and a 9-hole golf course, while a caravan park has an amusement arcade.
A car park is located along the B1348 (Links Road), and a path leads through a wooded area, over the dunes, to the beach. Shops, places to eat and drink, and other amenities can be found in nearby Cockenzie and Port Seton. Edinburgh, with its rich history and culture, is approximately a 30-minute drive away.
