Combe Martin Beach is a popular destination for families and beachgoers alike, situated in a sheltered valley at the western edge of the Exmoor National Park.

Combe Martin Beach is a large, sandy beach located in front of the small resort town of Combe Martin, in a sheltered valley at the western edge of the Exmoor National Park. The beach is approximately 110 metres wide and features a mixture of sand, shingle, and pebbles, with the River Umber channelled across the beach at the west side.

The beach is set in an attractive location, flanked by some of the highest sea cliffs in England, which contribute to its designation as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The sheltered position of the beach makes it a great spot for swimming, protected from strong currents and waves. However, there is no lifeguard service, so visitors should exercise caution.

The beach is a short walk from the centre of Combe Martin, with a large car park above the beach providing public toilets and stairs for direct access. There is also a small car park near the adjacent Newberry Beach. The surrounding area offers various shops, cafes, and restaurants for visitors to enjoy.

Combe Martin Beach is perfect for families, with safe swimming areas and large rock pools to explore at low tide. The beach is dog-friendly between 1 October and 30 April. Visitors can also enjoy walking the South West Coastal Path, which passes through the Exmoor National Park and North Devon's Area of Outstanding Beauty.

The Combe Martin silver mines, which operated for 600 years until their closure in the 1880s, are a notable part of the area's history.

Combe Martin Beach is on the North Devon Heritage Coast, and adjacent to the South West Coast Path.
