Corblets Beach and adjoining Arch Bay are popular beaches that are joined at low tide, offering good waves for surfing. The beach is a north-facing bay, protected from east winds by high cliffs, making it a sheltered spot for swimming and water activities. However, care should be taken in swell conditions.
The beach is a beautiful, sandy stretch that links up with nearby Arch Bay at low tide, while at high tide, the link between the two beaches is cut off by rocks. When the tide goes out, there are plenty of rockpools to explore. The beach is set against a picturesque backdrop of Victorian-era Fort Corblets and the Alderney lighthouse, making it a scenic spot. The bay is popular with swimmers, surfers, and body boarders, with many locals considering it to have some of the best surf on the island.
There is plenty of parking near the beach, making it easily accessible for visitors.
