An idyllic retreat, nestling within the beautiful Exmoor National Park. This former 19th century hospital forms part of a collection of just seven properties situated in a rural location in the ever-popular Holnicote Estate. Whether you're looking for coastal views, wide open moorland or tranquil wooded walks, Holnicote has something beautiful to offer. Like, Dunkery Beacon which is the highest point on Exmoor or Bossington, which is a peaceful coastal hamlet with traditional Exmoor cob and thatched cottages. Venture further afield to the picturesque seaside town of Minehead where you will find a beautiful sandy beach as well as the Great West Somerset Railway which is known to be the longest Heritage line in the UK. Or a visit to the traditional Exmoor village of Porlock.
Entering the property you have a large cloakroom on your left for coats and shoes, and on your right you have the main bathroom with a bath and WC. Following on to your right you enter the large open-plan lounge/diner which has a beautiful open fire place. Leading off the lounge is the conservatory area which gives you access to the enclosed garden area. From the main entrance, ahead of you will find the kitchen area, which is well-equipped with and electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and it also has access to the rear garden. Following on left from the main entrance you are met by two bedrooms, a king-size with its very own en-suite shower room with shower and WC and a further bedroom with a king-size bedroom (which can be made into a twin on request).
Heading outside you will find a tiered enclosed garden. On the lower tier is a patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. The top tier which is accessed via few steps has a large grassed area. Allocated parking for 2 cars.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
