The popular sailing town of Instow is just 5 minutes away by car and boasts a selection of small shops, an excellent mini-supermarket, superb riverfront hotel and selection of pubs and restaurants. Across the estuary, picturesque Appledore is well-worth a visit, while further along the coastline the bustling village of Westward Ho! is home to a vast stretch of sandy beach and range of amusements. Other local attractions include Tapeley House and Gardens, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. Inside, this reverse-level property boasts a spacious open-plan living area on the first floor with high ceilings and exposed beams and brickwork. In the kitchen area you will find an electric oven and hob, fridge with small freezer compartment and microwave, while the dining area nearby provides ample seating for entertaining. Laundry facilities can be found in a shared on-site laundry room, which contains a washing machine and a tumble dryer. After a long day on the beach or exploring the countryside, the large lounge area nearby is the perfect place to unwind as it boasts a cosy wood burner and TV/DVD. Downstairs, there are two cosy bedrooms: one double with an additional single bed for children and one double, with an extra Z-bed available on request.
