A stay at this cottage would not be complete without a short drive down to the local award-winning ice cream parlour - a refreshing treat after a long walk! The closest village of Masham offers everything you need from a local super market, butchers, tea rooms and bakery. For beer enthusiasts, book a brewery tour at the famous Black Sheep or Theakstons Breweries. Venture a little further afield to the attractive town of Bedale, home to quaint cafes and traditional shops is just 9.5 miles away, with the thriving market town of Leyburn 7.5 miles away. For a wonderful day out, head to Richmond, here you will find the historic Richmond Castle, Easby Abbey and boutique retailers.
