Located in the small village of Stibb Cross, the property is conveniently located to explore all of North Devon. Dogs will love exploring on a long walk - join the nearby Tarka Trail, which is also a great choice for cyclists. The North Devon coast is just a short distance away and there are long stretches of golden sand at Westward Ho!, Croyde, Saunton and Woolacombe. For a slice of local history, head to the town of Great Torrington, otherwise known as the ‘Cavalier Town’ from the civil war of 1646. Other nearby attractions include the traditional fishing village of Clovelly, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor.
Approaching the property across a shared access driveway yet with plenty of turning space, the cottage provides a great base and ensures privacy throughout your stay with your own private garden area. Entering the property, you find yourself in an entrance hall where you can place your muddy boots after a long day out. Just to your left is the lounge, where you can curl up on the comfy sofas and put your favourite film on the TV. Just across from the hall is the kitchen/diner with everything you need including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A good size dining table seats six comfortably and there is also a TV/DVD. Back into the hallway just before heading up the stairs is a separate WC. Upstairs on the first floor, there are three bedrooms consisting of a king-size with countryside views and an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. There is a further double room and a twin room, and the bathroom completes the accommodation which has a bath, separate shower and WC.
Outside, there is an enclosed garden area with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. Relax in the sunshine with morning coffee or an evening drink. There is off-road parking for three cars.
