The market towns of Newton Abbot and Bovey Tracey are within easy reach and boast an array of local shops, cafes, restaurants, and amenities. There are also plenty of towns and villages to make a day out of, with Totnes, Moretonhampstead, and the many coastal towns that make up the South Hams area. Nearby there are plenty of National Trust sites or visit the many local beaches with Shaldon and Maidencombe within 7 miles. There are also many local family attractions including Woodlands Adventure Park, Crealy Adventure Park, Paignton Zoo, and Quay West.

Moving upstairs leads to the first-floor landing where you will find the first bedroom, a twin room featuring zip-and-link beds which can be made up as a super-king-size on request, and there is a bedroom with a bunk with double size bottom and single top bunk. The next bedroom is a spacious king-size, complete with a flat-screen TV for a lazy morning in bed. Next door is the well-equipped kitchen comprising of an electric oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The kitchen is also set up with a small breakfast bar and features a Smart TV and sound system to keep everyone entertained, even when cooking. The bathroom is also located on the first floor and has a great setup with a bath with hand-held shower over, separate shower, and WC. The last room is the second lounge area, a cosy and comfortable room with a large sofa where you can catch up on your favourite shows in front of the large Smart TV with a sound system.
Outside there is allocated parking for one car near the beer garden, alternative parking can be found in the main pub car park. The beer garden of the pub is on your doorstep so you can join other customers at your leisure.
