Zooming a bit further up-river from Cramond Harbour, to a tanker moored at the terminal - while very picturesque in most ways, the Firth of Forth is also still a working river too, tankers, rigs, ferries, and sometimes naval vessels from the dockyards upriver still often plying this important waterway, which was old even when the Romans sailed up it.
