Here, at the north of Kilchattan, is a picnic area, jetty, quay and view point. A variety of flags are flown from poles - the flags of Scotland, Wales, the United Kingdom, and the Commonwealth are flown alongside the Royal Standard of Scotland. The flag of Switzerland is possibly flown at the time of the photograph in honour of the England national football team playing the Swiss national football team the previous night!
