I can never remember what the different flags on the coast mean, so I had to look this up a second time when posting this (we looked it up also when I took the original photo).
I try not to manipulate my film photographs, but here I had to do a couple of edits. I had to dodge the distant sky, which was just too bright against the foreground originally, and I can live with that - dodge and burn are age old techniques, and doing that in Lightroom doesn't feel much of a cheat to me. But I did have to also reduce the noise on this one, as it seems Superia X-Tra really prefers bright scenes, and in overcast scenes like this one (despite my light meter saying I was good) the grain really made for a dirty photo.
