Following the sea wall again on the last mile or so to Teignmouth. Just after leaving behind the Hole Head tunnel CrossCountry service 1V48 from Newcastle to Plymouth passed GWR service 1A84 from Penzance to London Paddington. Assorted netting and steel framework can be seen in place to protect the line from rockfall.
