This lovely property is situated on the coastal path in Bamburgh, and is just a short walk from a beautiful beach with a long stretch of golden sand. A short stroll takes you into the village, and the historic Bamburgh Castle is also nearby. You can also visit the RNLI Museum which is dedicated to the famous local heroine, Grace Darling, or St. Aidan’s Church, the site of which dates back to 635, which has a fascinating history and links to the origins of Christianity in Britain. There’s also a choice of excellent shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants. Nearby are the picturesque bird sanctuary of Budle Bay, and the enigmatic Holy Island of Lindisfarne, one of Northumberland’s most haunting highlights.
On entering this beautiful Grade II listed holiday cottage, you will find yourself in the spacious and welcoming lounge. Tastefully furnished, with comfortable seating, a wood burner, Smart TV, DVD, CD/radio, iPod dock and Nintendo games console with games, this is a fantastic space to relax in for all the family after a great day out exploring this wonderful area. Exploring this delightful property further you will find a stylish and traditional dining room with French doors leading to the rear garden. Moving into the attractively designed kitchen you will find it fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and cafetiere. The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the garage. You will also find a ground-floor double bedroom which may be useful for guests with mobility issues.
