A great base for couples and small families, this cosy stone cottage is set in a pretty courtyard, with use of a shared heated outdoor pool and children's play area.
Set in a courtyard of nine cottages, this property is the perfect base for families, being close to the two miles of golden sands at Westward Ho! If your idea of a holiday is a relaxed pace of life, stunning beaches, quaint villages, unparalleled scenery and exciting water sports, then North Devon is the place for you. The area boasts 180 miles of walking and cycle paths known as the Tarka Trail, which meanders through some of the best scenery in the country. Family attractions in the area include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. A little further afield is the unique village of Clovelly, RHS Rosemoor and the wonderful Exmoor National Park.
This two-storey cottage is set within the main courtyard of the complex with views across the front lawn. Inside there is a spacious lounge with TV/DVD. Cook a light lunch or evening meal in the kitchen which is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. A dining table with seating allows you to dine comfortably. After a day's exploring the area or swimming in the outdoor heated pool retire to one of the two bedrooms 1 double room or a bright twin bedroom. The accommodation is completed by a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Heading outside, there is a shared lawn area to the front with seating and a separate shared BBQ area to the rear. Guests have use of the shared heated 40ft outdoor swimming pool (from May Bank Holiday week until 1st September). Visit the animals on-site, there are sheep, goats and Kunekune pigs. Let the little ones let off some steam on the play equipment, with swings and slides. Guests have use of the shared utility room with coin operated commercial washing machines and tumble dryer. Surrounding the complex are 15 acres of farmland where you can walk the dog or just simply admire the stunning countryside and coastline. Please note: dogs must be kept on a lead at all times while on-site. There is off-road parking for one car.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
