Description

One of two quirky period properties, located in the heart of Llwyngwril village. Ideal for a family holiday to explore the culture, coast and countryside in North Wales and Snowdonia National Park.

This coastal village boasts pub, shop and rocky beach with a myriad of footpaths to explore. Take a gentle stroll on the beach, join the coastal path or climb Cader Idris in Snowdonia National Park. Discover the wildlife and waters of Mawddach and Dyfi estuaries, take a ride on the Talyllyn narrow-gauge historic railway or discover life underground in Corris Slate Mines. Visit Portmeirion Village and Gardens, the Ynys-Hir RSPB reserve, or the pretty waterfall at Dolgoch Falls. Nearby Aberdovey offers a championship golf course, water sport activities from the harbour, shops, galleries and eateries. Enjoy culinary delights, independent shops and a host of events. A relaxing break, coastal adventure or action packed holiday is all within your grasp.

The property is full of original artworks and unique features celebrating the history of the house and area. The welcoming kitchen/lounge/diner has underfloor heating and a wood burner in the lounge area with comfy sofas, leather recliner, TV/DVD and CD player. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and all the thoughtful little extras creating a lovely space to cook in. A lovely welcome pack is provided by the owner for your arrival. Lay the table by the Welsh dresser to enjoy a family meal and plan your days’ activities or enjoy a board game. Along the corridor is a lovely twin bedroom and spacious wet room with shower and WC, ideal for those looking for increased accessibility. Heading up the stairs you will find the library landing leading to the master suite with a king-size bed, daybed with additional single pull out bed (which can be made up as a twin on request), two comfy sofas and TV/DVD (TV is only for use with DVDs). The en-suite bathroom has a shower over spa bath and WC.

Heading outside, the enclosed patio garden is perfect for alfresco dining, has a BBQ. If you hear trickling water it's the Mill race on its way to the sea at Llwyngwril. If you are keen on cycling there is a lockable bike store in the garden. There is parking for one car at the property and further parking is available in the village car park 50 yards away.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
