Llwyngwril Beach is a picturesque stretch of coast in Wales, offering a unique combination of shingle, boulders, and rock pools, making it a popular destination for surfers, families, and walkers.

Llwyngwril Beach is a shingle beach strewn with boulders, located a few hundred meters from the village of Llwyngwril. The beach is considered a very good wave for surfing when the swell is big enough, although the numerous boulders mean it is not suitable for beginners. As the tide goes out, it reveals a large number of rock pools, which children will enjoy exploring on a family day out.

The closest parking and public toilets are in the town of Llwyngwril. There is also a railway station along the Cambrian Coast Line, where the trains stop on request. A path passing the railway station gives access to the beach from the town. Llwyngwril has shops and a pub, and there are a number of caravan parks in the area, some of which have direct access to the beach.

The beach is popular for walking, being dog-friendly and offering excellent views of the surrounding mountainous countryside. During the winter months, especially in February, surfers come to this beach for the surfable waves. The village of Llwyngwril is an ideal base for exploring this stunning part of the Welsh coast, including the Mawddach Trail and The Dysynni Valley.

There is plenty of accommodation available from B&Bs and self-catering apartments to caravan parks. While there are no facilities at the beach, the picturesque village of Llwyngwril has charming traditional stone cottages, shops, and restaurants.
