Description

A traditional stone cottage with pretty garden right by a stream. Walk to village shop, pub and beach or explore Snowdonia National Park and the beautiful coastline.

Relish a coastal adventure, enjoy outdoor activities, or just relax and unwind at this cosy cottage. Walk to the shop, rocky beach and join footpaths from the doorstep. Take a gentle stroll on a sandy beach, roam the coastal path or climb Cader Idris in Snowdonia National Park. Enjoy the wildlife and waters of the Mawddach and the Dyfi estuaries, board the steam train on the Talyllyn narrow-gauge historic railway or go underground in Corris Slate Mines. Take the water taxi from Fairbourne to Barmouth or head to nearby Aberdovey which offers a championship golf course, water sports activities from the harbour, shops, galleries and eateries. Enjoy culinary delights, independent shops and a host of events in and around the area.

This lovely stone cottage is located by a stream. Walk to the side gate and round to the back door; once inside, you will find plenty of space for your boots and sandals. To your left is the sunshine kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Enjoy views over the garden as you rustle up a meal. Once ready, continue through to the dining room with bespoke settle, table and bench with plenty of space for everyone to gather around and enjoy a meal together. After dinner, walk through to the lounge with comfortable sofas and Smart TV, relax with a film and light the wood burner for cosy nights in whilst planning your activities. After a full day out, take a leisurely bath or shower in the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. There are two lovely bedrooms to choose from, the double or the twin, designed for a good night’s sleep.

The pretty garden has a table, chairs, and a charcoal BBQ to make the most of the weather; it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sound of the babbling stream. Take time to appreciate morning coffee or a sundowner in this attractive enclosed garden. There is a shed to store your bikes and space for paddleboards and canoes. After dropping off your luggage, drive over the bridge and turn right for ample free parking in the village car park, 75 metres away.
